Bullock's Bristo @ Yellowknife

this is just a portion/part of the ceiling only.... this whole place is basically written all over! err... well, not the kitchen stove...yet! hahaha
Client brings their own felt-marker to leave a trace here. Some even stick their namecard on the walls! some even had their lovely pictures pin onto the walls too. :)

they made these soft bread themself! it has a slight hint of "yeast" smell, but it's sure soft n nice. Limited to 1 per customer. Late-comer don't gets it. and this bread actually meant to give you something to munch while waiting for your fish to come.

They cook orders table by table. so we waited for quite some time.... i am hungry! :p

i can assure you that this bread is really good to suck up all the sauces on your plate when you finish your fish! they become even more delicious! and you get your plate wipe clean! :p

Voted the best Fish n' Chips by Reader Digest!
with lots of fresh lettuce and fresh deep-fried fries!
a bit of chopped garlic and parsley on top.
i had the "Pikalor" fish from the lake beside this bristo.
its fresh...taste n texture like our "Kuning" Fish in Sg.
For pan-fried, they pour a salty-sweet sauce over the fish.
it somehow taste like the "HK-steam fish" sauce kind of thing, but cooler version.

a small eating place with just few tables. Full house just when we were seated at about 5.30pm!

1 lady-chef cooking right in front of you, and 1 lady-server running the rest of the show!
Fries are cut into strips with a press-tool, just before deep-frying.
yupe! they put a whole potato in and press! and thick potatoes strips we have!
for 5 of us, we spent about CA$180 for 5 plates of pan-fried Fish n' Chips, with soft drinks and Tax included.
