这几天都有留意到这项"UX周"的宣布。
是指今天的已送完？那明天还会送吗？
是错别字？还是创新用词？
大机构哦。。。有那么多大学生在里面。不可能会打错字吧？
而且已经那么多天了。如果是错字，应该也已经纠正了吧？

都怪我平时不多读多看。家里又没有辞典。
书到用时方恨少！或许就是这个道理。

好！快存钱买一本好的辞典。 :)

in 1998, i got a "A" for chinese (2nd language).
but that does not stop me from gaining more knowledge on mandarin.
so i always make it a point to talk more, read more and think more.

but lately, i feel kind of disheartening.
i seem to be falling behind the speed of gaining mandarin knowledge.
i cant keep up with the pace of new terms popping up.

i need to find ways to improve myself to keep up with the youngsters now.

昨天去看电影"L"之前，在一间有"转转寿司"连锁日本餐饮店用餐。
三个人吃了七，八十块钱左右。
我做庄。因为要给好姐妹祝寿。
平时都是她很大方的请我任吃。
难得我的口袋有余钱，就回请也顺道给她庆祝生日。

行情坏，这笔钱确实可以让我吃很久。
可是请姐妹吃，
只求开心，不求回报。
值得。:)

you cant expect good japanese food from a joint where no japanese people can be spotted in it. (tell me if you know of any? ok? we go there eat! yummy!)

i always lower my expectations when i dine here, so i can enjoy the food here with my friends.

i feel that, what's more important than to eat with the friends you like to be with?
sashimi not that "direct catch from the sea" fresh? aiya... dip in more wasabi lor!!
dont spoilt my mood catching up with my friends over food!

Just EAT!!!!! hahahaha.......

我是谁？Who am i?

Radio1003 下午２点到４点有个时段叫"I 　AM　ＡＮＮＡ＂．
安娜就叫Ａｎｎａ。Ａｎｎａ就是安娜。不会混淆。

我这个小人物反而有时会身份混乱。。。
离开麦克风那么久了还没学会如何调试自己的心态。

今天我帮了我外甥（我表姐的儿子）主持他的结婚宣誓仪式。
在送太平绅士离开时，他礼貌的问了我的名字，我脱口而出就说了“小明”两个字。
我脑子还愣了一下。

我已经不在空中献声了。可是我还没用回我的本名。。。。至少我在外面或跟电台合作时我还是在用“小明”。

是虚荣心在作祟吗？还是我在迷恋之前空中的日子？哈哈。。。有时候我也答不上来。
没关系。小明也好。照铭也罢。
反正他们知道我对他们是真心对待的就好。　Ｒｉｇｈｔ？　：）

下雨了。。。 It's raining!

下雨啦

今天傍晚下了一场雨。

下午茶时间还和同事聊起, 这本地的天气从立春到十五都是多风晴朗的。

下雨真好。至少他买给我的雨伞可以派上用场了!
我也不用担心我们的蓄水池干枯了。哈哈哈。。。。。。 :P

well at least at Yishun and Senoko area, and for the whole period of Chinese New Year, it's windy, clear sky or partial cloudy, or sunny weather but no rain.

it rained just now. around 7pm.
felt a sting of wetness from the wind blowing the rain into my bedroom from the window.

well, i can stop worrying about our reservoir water level, at least for now. :o)

农历戊子年正月十五庆元宵 20th Feb 2008

你买了吗？

这几天的话题都围绕着今天开彩的“多多”大奖。
我当然买了。。。哈哈。。。
今早跟人凑热闹，
也跑去排队。。。领奖金啦！哈哈。。。

庆元宵

才刚修好了电脑，这年就快过完了。
福建人是初九拜天公最大了。。。
可我们潮州人，则是元宵大过年。通常也会在这天吃个团圆饭什么之类的来庆祝一番。
卤鸭，饭馃，麻糍等等的潮州美食都是不可缺少的。
今天本来要做麻糍到电台给敏妈吃。。
潮州有句话：“吃麻糍， 吃了有钱” （因为：糍和钱在潮州话有同音嘛！）

可是一大早忙起来就真的忙到。。单单买东西就来来回回几趟了。
买回来后还要摆美美，拿些金花来点缀一下。

拜完家里的。。就到楼下的庙宇拜拜，顺便趁元宵到南凤善堂拜拜，丢圣杯来请一对糖狮子回家。。。
等到全部拜完回到家都已经3点了。。。
我都快累晕了。

怎么老是觉得我突然很auntie leh!

OMG! finally i got my wireless internet back! many thanks to Woofy, my friend! he's really a computer genius. At least i can update my blog using my laptop. my desktop is totally crashed..... crashed totally. just a few days after i finished paying up my last 36th month instalments!!!!

电脑当啦！而且还真会挑时间。
我才刚还清所有分期付款，它就当了。
还好有会修理电脑的小朋友，他帮我调好了无线网络，让我还可以继续使用笔记型电脑。

让你久等了。。。。。 :O)

初三,初四都把时间耗在庙宇之间游走.
佛牙寺....四马路观音庙...三巴旺财神庙.... ..... .....
我不是虔诚的教徒. 当然我也不会在部落格里鼓吹宗教啦.
我只是很喜欢跟菩萨"沟通", 祈福, 许愿等等.
当然我也很喜欢看看佛牙, 舍利, 神像, 看看人们祈福的虔诚样子 等等...
敏妈还说我很chinese .... well, i can speak chinese, you know? :p

我母亲在两个星期连跌两次.
两次都在同样地方跌倒.
两次都有住院.

不同是...

第一次跌到后脑, 第二次跌到膝盖.

第一次不懂, 慌忙中什么都没带就赶去急诊部. 第二次懂了, 镇定自若带齐梳洗用品等去报道.

三姑和六婆说我妈可能犯到什么, 不可能在相同地方跌两次, 还一次比一次严重.
要我在跌倒的地方拜拜....

犯到什么? 拜什么? 怎么拜? 什么时候拜? 我真的不会.
原来我也有不chinese的时候.

母亲吃不惯医院太健康的餐食. 我有幸看了一眼都饱了.

虽然不健康, 但至少换来母亲饱足的表情. 也值得啦.... :)

今天天气晴朗! 可是在 "春到河畔" 的地点就是有些晒.....阳光可是灿烂到我快迷着眼睛走路了. 哈哈.. 不过这种天气拿来晒衣服最好了!

今天这天气是挺适合我用我的手机来拍照的哦. 你看我拍的花就知道了. 多鲜艳! 一看就看得出它们可是摆了好几天了哟.... :P

今天也到牛车水SAGO LANE的佛牙寺龙华院给佛菩萨拜拜.
也学人家插了头柱香.

不过我的头柱香的算法是以我在农历新年期间, 所上的第一柱香.
不必跟人争到你推我挤, 如果不幸运的话, 还可能被火辣辣的香头烫到我粉嫩的脸呢!!

今天我上的香肯定能在香炉里从头烧到完才被拔掉.
不象有些开年的, 插了不到半秒就被拔掉了. 还要使尽牛力跟人斗个脸红耳赤, 推挤碰撞; 一开年就跟人有口舌纠纷..多不吉利哟!

象我今天这样不也很好吗?
我还可以轻轻松松, 心平气合, 自自在在, 安安稳稳的站在那里慢慢跟菩萨许愿呐. :)

今天外甥从兵营回来, 有他爱吃的STEAMBOAT!
今年我们家已经很随便了. 特地跟着菜单买, 不多不少刚刚好.
反正超市也有开嘛.
我们都大了. 能吃得了多少哦? 今晚每个人都有自己爱吃的材料.
大虾...人人爱.
津白菜...人人爱.
猪肉丸...CRABSTICK...福州鱼圆...金针菇...鲜贝...三文鱼...生鱼...

还有我的最爱....肥猪肉片! NTUC 买的.
除夕前有特价...每盘卖$6.99 (包装分瘦肉:400克, 三层肉:500克)
冰冻包装已切薄片...解冻后只要在滚热的鸡汤里涮一涮.
颜色一变灰白, 就可以往自制辣椒酱里一沾, 再送到饥饿的嘴里...一咬...再咬...

哦!!!! 你可以感受到那猪油和瘦肉一起在你口里被撕烂, 混杂着新鲜大小辣椒和蒜头的刺激, 还有鲜榨泰国柠檬汁的酸香味道! 天啊! 我还要多一盘!!!!!

新春如意 Happy Lunar New Year

满福苑的盆菜.
今天下午跟我姐姐一起去拿的. 过后搭了一辆又慢又热的980冷气巴士回家.
OMY的图片有6只大虾, 6只鲍鱼, 6只鲜贝....
可惜回来全部每样各只有5只!!!
照片果然会骗人.
不过想想.....当初我还真的很天真的相信帮我下订单的小姐的话, 我还一再跟她求证是不是有6只鲍鱼.... 哈哈..... 算了. 团圆饭还是照吃! 管他5只还是6只!我们同样吃得很开心!
我不只出钱出得开心, 今年是第一次不用下厨弄年夜饭哦! 爽! 哈哈哈.... :P

还好阿伦没有乱夸....这盆菜果然是材料足而且真的跟菜馆吃的一样, 味道不会输. 不会乱来. 也没有掉水准! 赞! 值得! :)

我们8个人都吃不完..哈哈...明天初一会加点津白菜! 哇谢!! "某达顶"啊!

i'd ordered poon choy from hotel intercontinental "Man Fu Yuan".
this is the first time i spent so much to get a poon choy for my family. and also the first time i do not have to sweat myself in the kitchen cooking for all on new year eve! hahaha.... so happy :p

abalone! big prawns! scallop! pork knucker! sea cucumber! pork tendon! fish maw! over 20 types of items in it! and each have their very own auspicious names to usher a good new year!

i really did not regret ordering this poon choy. really worth the money spent and the time taken to carry them back.

my colleagues had few bad experience taking back poon choy during CNY. the standard drops and really taste worst then eating at the resturant.

but for this, i can say it is good as eating at the resturant. maybe the 5 or 6 star hotel has a reputation to keep. that's why they don't anyhow cook! :p



this is one of the auspicious fortune basket i did for my home and my elder sister to bring home. it consist of few items with auspicious names,

namely : mandarin orange for prosperity, banana for attracting wealth, huat kueh for more fortune, garlic for able to count in more money, hu lu to absorb good money, golden pumpkin to signify gold in hand etc etc...

this year i even put in a fortune Cat! hahahaha.... hope it can bring us good luck again!

哈哈....买不起真的...就用一些带吉利名堂的东西,自己做一个!

有发糕! 发财金瓜!蒜头! 香焦! 葫芦!
今年我还加了个招财猫! 希望能带来好运气啦....

我每年都做两个.
一个自用. 一个给我大姐.

立春 The 1st day of Spring

这张照片我拍了很多次, 对焦后老是拍不清楚.
突然想到...今天是立春, 也是所有风水摆设启动的日子.
或许它们已经有了能量, 来保护我在本命年一切顺利, 不然至少它们也会把不好遭遇减至最低点.

今年它们将随我到处走...
貔貅, 太岁币, 生肖盟友, 还有黑葫芦(已经挂在我的办公桌了).

有时我会觉得我很迷信.
可是...至少有了它们,我的心也比较踏实. 人也比较轻松.

i'd difficulty taking this photo shot with my sony cybershot phone.
i can see it clearly in the screen but once i focus and take the shot, it always appear blur or out of focus. i'd tried many times until i give up.

then i realised, maybe these guardian had begun to have their own energy. :p
they are meant to protect me for a smooth sailing year, for a fat guy born in the year of Rat.

well, i just want to be healthy and everything go smoothly and nicely for the whole year.
you can call me superstitious, but i can tell you, i feel so clam now. :o)
